Looking for VP-5 members who served in sigonella, cicily in 1981 and 1982. I was in crew #9 with 10 other sailors. One was named Greg Cosgrove one also was ADR Andrews. Greg's hometown was in Georgia before he joined the Navy. I've been searching for 30 years. Thank you for hearing

Joined the Navy in 1960, right out of high school in Mpls, on the buddy program with my best friend Jim Fisher. Following boot camp in San Diego, we never saw each other! Jim was assigned to a ship and I won the lottery with my assignment as an airman on Patrol Squadron 7 in the Caribbean. I spent four years in the air with a great crew; I loved it.

ATR3 serving in active duty for 4 years and 2 years ready reserves and inactive reserves from 1961 thru 1967. During my active duty I served in three squadrons: VAP-62, VA-72, and VA=81 and served aboard the USS Independence CVA-62 and USS Forrestal CVA-59. Prior to attending Electronics school in Millington, Tennessee I served as ships company in the US Naval School of Preflight in Pensacola, Florida.
