3rd Marine Division

Looking for marines I served with I went to boot camp at Paris Island in Jan 1984. Plt 3026. Was assigned mos of 2144 tracked vehicle repair. Trained at Aberdeen proving grounds ARMY base. In MD. Stationed on Okinawa 1984 -1988. camp foster and Hanson with Ord Maint Co. Working with 2111 and 2131 worked in tool room on foster. Company organics at hanson. Went to camp Lejeune and worked on towed artillery.

I am a disabled veteran of 3 distinct.post-service laboring backgrounds who is at risk for being homeless for the 3rd time in less than 20 years. I have aquired illness from my original service in 79-82 at El Toro airwing while it was operational....I may be involved with marital efforts soon but lack both, patriotic support & resources party to claim filing grievances & fairly negotiated rent by common rental security agreements!! I am at risk for both, stroke & permanent heart disease. + Intestinal disease!! I seek social support from valued relationships I served honorably under being placed on schedule to recieve 'Good Conduct Medal ' !! I wasn't authorized a position of recovery on inactive reserves.

I was a communicator in the 2531 MOS. My favorite unit to serve with was 3rd Shore Party on Okinawa. The floats were excellent as well. Traveled to many ports. Was on the first Kangaroo exercise in Australia the 70's. I was an E-4. Lived in French Creek on Lejeune after coming back to the world.

Parris Island platoon 1010 outstandiong marine of platoon 1010, served 13 months and 2 days in Vietnam, Dong Ha, Quang Tri province, May 68 until June 1969, Retired Deputy Police Chief East Orange Police Department for 37 1/2 years of service, retired in 2011

I am from Provo, Utah and I served in Vietnam with 3/12, 3rd MARDIV Headquarters Company in Da Nang, Camp Evans, Quang Tri, and Qua Viet at the end of the Qua Viet River at the Bay Of Tonkin, right on the beach. In Qua Viet I served with Jim Johnson from Minnessota, Ike Dweck from NYC/Bronx, Ruben Casper from Kernersville North Carolina, Buddy Hitchcock from Guthrie Oklahoma and a few others I can't remember the names.
