Jeffrey Malaki served with distinction across more than three decades of U.S. military service. He began his career in the U.S. Navy as a Machinist’s Mate aboard submarines from September 1983 to September 1990, mastering the demanding world of undersea engineering and propulsion. In 1991, he continued his commitment to the nation by joining the United States Coast Guard as a Fire Control Technician, later transitioning to the Electronics Technician community. Through years of technical excellence, leadership, and operational readiness, he rose to the rank of Senior Chief Electronics Technician (ETCS). Retiring in 2014, Senior Chief Malaki is recognized for his deep technical expertise, his mentorship of junior sailors and Coast Guardsmen, and his unwavering dedication to service.

Recently retired from the 25 years Army Reserves, 9 years Coast Guard active, 3 years Navy active, while a DOD CIVILIAN at FORT BRAGG, NC (Small Arms Repair), started 4 lacrosse teams just under 20 years playing with some of the nicest people in the military who have ever served. The missions were challenging and the ones I met, were top notch.

I was in the Coastguard for over 20 years. I retired as a chief warrant officer and served in the Gulf war.
