Worked as Food Inspection specialist in Jacksonville Florida at cold storage, Henry's Bacon House, JAX NAS, Brunswick, GA. Navy station and Sea Pak Seafood on St. Simon's Island, 1972-1974. Then went to Ft. Devens, MA., and worked the Commissary 1974-1975 Ft. Shafter, HI Worked mostly on Pearl Harbor Navy Base 1975-1978 Returned to Ft. Stewart, GA. and worked at NAS JAX commissary and Cecil Field NAS, 1978-1979. Was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in May 1979 and retired from service.
