The 93rd Evacuation Hospital was a distinguished U.S. Army medical unit with a long and storied history. Originally activated during World War II, the 93rd provided critical frontline medical care in the European Theater, notably supporting the Normandy invasion and subsequent campaigns across France and Germany. The unit was reactivated for later conflicts, serving valiantly in the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1971, where it operated near Long Binh and Bien Hoa, treating thousands of wounded soldiers and civilians. Throughout its service, the 93rd Evacuation Hospital earned multiple commendations for its dedication, expertise, and lifesaving contributions on the battlefield.
