Entered the US Army through ROTC at the University of Dayton. Was branched in the Adjutant General Corps. After commissioning at summer camp, entered on active duty at Fort Ben Harrrison, IN for my officer basic course. Upon completion of Basic, I got orders for Fort Riley KS, where I joined the 1st Adjutant General Company as the XO. Retired from the Army in 1994 as a O-4, Major, with my last posting in the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Research, Development and Acquisition.
