The 65th DPU (Dywizjon Przeciwlotniczy, or Anti-Aircraft Squadron) is a Polish military unit specializing in air defense operations. Established in the post-Cold War era, the 65th DPU has been tasked with protecting key military and civilian infrastructure from aerial threats. Over the years, the unit has upgraded its equipment, transitioning from legacy Soviet-era systems to more modern anti-aircraft platforms compatible with NATO standards. The 65th DPU has also participated in numerous national and allied exercises, enhancing Poland’s integrated air defense capabilities and contributing to the collective security of the region.
