The 453rd Engineer Construction Battalion was a United States Army unit activated during World War II, later serving in the Korean War. During the Korean conflict (1950–1953), the battalion was tasked with critical engineering missions, including the construction and repair of roads, airfields, and bridges to support UN forces’ mobility and logistics.
