The 4th Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment (4/325th AIR) is a distinguished airborne infantry unit of the United States Army. Originally activated during World War II as part of the 82nd Airborne Division, the regiment participated in key operations such as the Normandy Invasion (D-Day), Operation Market Garden, and the Battle of the Bulge. Reactivated several times during the Cold War, the 4/325th AIR played a vital role in rapid deployment and contingency operations, including service in Operation Just Cause in Panama in 1989. The battalion remains recognized for its airborne proficiency, combat readiness, and proud heritage within the 82nd Airborne Division.
