The 2nd Battalion, 77th Field Artillery Regiment (2/77 FA) is a storied unit in the United States Army with origins dating back to World War I. As part of the 4th Brigade Combat Team (BCT), 4th Infantry Division, the battalion has provided crucial fire support in numerous conflicts, including Vietnam, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Throughout its history, 2/77 FA has earned multiple unit commendations for its outstanding performance and dedication to mission success. Renowned for its professionalism and adaptability, the battalion continues to uphold its motto, "En Garde," while supporting infantry operations with precision artillery fire.
