The 25th Army Band, National Guard, was established in 1949 in Miami, Florida, as part of the Florida Army National Guard. Known as the "Governor's Own," the unit has provided musical support for military and civilian events, ceremonies, and official functions statewide and nationally. The band has served in various capacities, including morale-boosting performances for troops, participation in national parades, and community outreach.
