The 24th Ordnance Company has a distinguished history of providing vital munitions and explosives ordnance disposal (EOD) support to the United States Army. Originally constituted during World War II, the unit played a key role in supplying and maintaining ammunition for frontline troops in both the European and Pacific Theaters. Over the decades, the 24th Ordnance Company has supported numerous operations, including the Korean and Vietnam Wars, as well as recent deployments to the Middle East. Today, the company continues its mission of ensuring the safe handling, storage, and disposal of ordnance, contributing to the Army’s operational readiness worldwide.
