The 2291st United States Army Hospital (USAH) was a Reserve medical unit that provided vital medical support to the U.S. Army. Activated during the Cold War era, the unit was tasked with augmenting military medical capabilities during times of national emergency or deployment. The 2291st USAH participated in various training exercises and readiness missions, ensuring its personnel were prepared to deliver healthcare in both field and fixed-facility environments. Over the years, the unit contributed to the overall mission of Army Medicine by supporting mobilizations and domestic operations as needed.
