The 16th Field Service Company was a logistics and support unit within the United States Army, primarily tasked with providing essential supply, maintenance, and transportation services to frontline combat units. Activated during World War II, the company played a key role in ensuring the rapid movement of materiel and equipment during major campaigns in the European Theater. Its personnel were responsible for managing supply depots, repairing vehicles, and coordinating convoys under challenging combat conditions. After the war, the 16th Field Service Company continued to serve in various capacities before being reorganized as part of broader logistical restructuring during the Cold War era.
