The **166th Regional Support Group (RSG)** is a United States Army Reserve unit with a lineage dating back to World War II, when its predecessor units provided vital logistical and support functions in the European Theater. Reactivated and reorganized over the decades, the 166th RSG has served as a key command and control element, responsible for managing base operations and sustainment support for deployed forces. The unit has participated in multiple overseas deployments, including missions in the Middle East in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Today, the 166th RSG continues its mission to provide essential support capabilities, ensuring operational readiness and sustainment for U.S. Army forces worldwide.
