The 1st Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment (1/3 HHT ACR) has a distinguished history as a reconnaissance and security force within the U.S. Army. Organized as the Headquarters and Headquarters Troop (HHT) of the squadron, it has provided command and control for cavalry operations since its inception. The unit has served in numerous conflicts, including World War II, Operation Desert Storm, and Operation Iraqi Freedom, demonstrating mobility and adaptability in a variety of combat environments. The soldiers of 1/3 HHT ACR continue to uphold the regiment’s proud traditions of readiness, vigilance, and excellence in support of national defense.
