I took Basic & AIT at Fort Ord CA in the Summer of 1973. From 1973 to 1974 I was permanently stationed at Gerzweski Barracks (3rd CEC) in Karlsruhe, Germany, serving as a Dispatcher in the Motor Pool and as the Assistant Patrol Supervisor with the Unit Police.
