After my discharge, I attended college and got my BA degree in 1981. I worked various maintenance and construction jobs in the San Francisco Bay area for 10 years before moving to Oroville, CA in 1991. I retired in 2021 after working 30 years for a company that builds gas stations and inspects and repairs the equipment.
