Outreach Specialist: Phillip Chavez. Phillip is a retired 1stSgt Desert Storm /Iraqi Freedom Disabled Combat Veteran who served in the U.S Navy and US Army from June 1979 to December 2007. Phillip retired with 28 years of active-duty service. Phillip holds a BA in Criminal Justice and is a native of Santa Fe where he lives with his wife (Josie Chavez) one daughter, four sons of 3 who have or our serving in the military. Phillip joined the Vet Center Team in December 2011.
