Nicholas Georges
Born and raised in Northwest Detroit, and classified 1-A In December 1970. Enlisted Feb 1975, and served honourably until Feb 1975. After Tech School at Keesler AFB, Biloxi, Mississippi, attained AFC A27650, while at Homestead, AFB, Florida., where I worked at Richmond NGCI, Radar Station. Then to Tin City, Alaska, a remote Site, serving in the the 710th AEW&C Sqdn. Onto McClelland AFB with the 552nd AEW&C Radar Wing, in the 964th Sqdn. I was initially qualified as Aircrew Radar Operator, on EC-121 Super Constellations. I then qualified as an “Intercept Technician”, with them. until my honourable Discharge in Feb 1975. I moved to Glasgow, Scotland, in July 1982, where I got Married, and have lived here ever since. My Wife past away in 2019. I have a Son, and a Daughter, plus a Grandson, and am retired from British Telecommunications Plc since 2012. I enjoy travelling Europe , and back home to visit Family, when I can.
