Larry Iverson
After spending 26 months in Vietnam, I returned to the states and buried my combat experiences. I spent the next 50 years hiding my service and never talked to anyone about my time in Vietnam. My body suffered as well as my mental state. Alcohol played a huge roll in covering both my physical and mental conditions. In spite of my disabilities, I attended college, spent 39 years in high banking positions, then ran my own construction company for 10 years before retiring. In 2019 I sought treatment and now do not drink. My wife and I lead a fairly boring life in our home on Lake Roosevelt in Washington.
