Joined the North Carolina Army National Guard in April of 1978. Went to Basic at Ft. Jackson, SC. Served a 3/3 split enlistment. Got out at the end of the first 3 years, April 1981. E-4 Specialist. Peacetime service, Dey. 1, 210th MP Company, NCANG. Enlisted as a Administrative Specialist, was placed in an MP slot before I got out.
