The 4546th Tactical Training Squadron was a United States Air Force unit activated in the late 1960s at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. Its primary mission was to provide advanced tactical training for fighter pilots, particularly in air combat maneuvering and weapons employment. The squadron played a key role in developing and refining training programs that contributed to the effectiveness of USAF pilots during the Vietnam War era. After several years of service, the 4546th Tactical Training Squadron was inactivated as its functions were absorbed by other units within the USAF tactical training structure.
