The Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) G-3/5/7 is a principal staff directorate responsible for Army operations, plans, and training at the strategic level. Established to synchronize operational planning and resource allocation, G-3/5/7 integrates current operations (G-3), future plans (G-5), and training and readiness (G-7) to ensure the Army’s preparedness for global contingencies.
