The 400th Munitions Maintenance Squadron (400th MMS) was an Air Force unit responsible for the storage, maintenance, and readiness of nuclear and conventional munitions during the Cold War era. Activated in the early 1960s, the squadron played a crucial role in supporting the Strategic Air Command’s deterrence mission, primarily at bases in Europe and the United States.
