The 21st Transportation was first activated during World War II to provide vital logistical and transportation support for U.S. Army operations in the European Theater. Throughout its history, the unit has played a crucial role in moving troops, equipment, and supplies across various conflict zones, including the Korean War and Vietnam War. The 21st Transportation has earned multiple commendations for its dedication to mission success and operational excellence. Today, it continues to serve as a key component of the U.S. Army’s logistical and transportation capabilities, supporting both domestic and overseas operations.
