Hi,
I am looking for anyone who may have known my father, John Gillis Quilty. He served in Vietnam from 1966-1969 in the Army. He passed away in 1991, he never spoke of his time there and I am looking to find out more. I believe he was part of the group called Ghost (something).

I, too, am searching for anyone who may have served with my Dad, Eugene Funk. I will ask him about your father. He served from 1966-1968 in the Army in Vietnam (Da Nang and Dong Ha areas during the Tet Offensive). My Dad has been denied all attempts for benefits despite his VA records saying "exposure to Agent Orange". Do you know if any of this lines up with your father? This is roger Patterson, I served in Tay Ninh in late 69 and part of 70 with the 548th light maintainer. I was there for about 6 months and then went to Chu Chi
With the 725th 25th Infantry. I left there in Oct. 1970 and came home.

Served in Okinawa from June 63-Nov 64 Site Hanza just a couple of clicks from Bolo point the rifle range the unit I served with was the 1st MSL Bn 57th Fa The Battalion commander at the time was Roscoe T Minson. I was assigned to the commo section my Platoon Sgt
Iat the time was Ssg Newman. I've also been trying to make contact with Joseph Davis Brown, Chester Irons, Parker, Mccalister

Looking for members of the 12th Ordnance Detachment in Vietnam. We were attached to various units in three different bases while I was there. Danang, Chu Lai attached to the 588th Maintenance Co. Them we moved by Naval boat to Phu Bai. There were 11-12 enlisted men and 1 Warrant Officer. I have a Facebook page for the 12 Ord Detachment that I hope to gather more previous members. I always enjoy reviewing the posted Naval Photos. What I find offensive is the fact that I see a face, dog, cat. and someone holding something up with "No description what so ever". If you post a photo include at least a description.

Updating some info here.... I was stationed at the 32nd Signal Battalion. McNair Kaserne 1971-73.Was with the 201st Signal Co. for six months then transferred to Bravo Co. and the signal messenger section until my ETS. Looking to contact any of my old buddies with either company,or any others stationed there at McNair..Has great fun in Germany...who remembers the retrain session on Fulda????? Hope to hear from all those stationed back then
