My name is Lonnie Johnson I was station on the USS BASILONE from 1968 to 1970, I was a commissary man (cook) looking for anyone who remembers me especially a friend by the name of Rudy Brown. Also was station in Millington Tennessee 1970 to 1971 looking for a person by the name of Julius Cain he was in the Marine corps and lived in the Memphis area.

was there n 66 14th armored cav. i really enjoyed firing the 155 and m60. only thing was it was so cold.also shooting wild boars with a 50 cal. i was stationed in bad kissingen.it was so cold i reinlisted and went 2 viet nam. hope all is ok in your life .welcome home.

Looking for anyone that I served with in 1968 in Vietnam. I carried an M-60 then. Don't remember anyone that I was with. Please Help. I was just 18yrs at that time. My gunner that I worked with was 23yrs old. Spend all of my time in the woods. I think I was in "C" company. Remember that I came home in April or May of 1968. Was getting paid and the pay master told me that I had to go back to main base with him. He didn't know why but I had to go home.

I am also searching for anyone who may have served around the same time and locations as my Dad, Eugene Funk. He was in the Danang and Dong Ha areas from 66-68. His VA Medical records reference "Exposure to Agent Orange" but he has been denied any benefits.
