Searching for Christine Hanson. We met at Shephard AFB while in tech school back in 1983 and on leave. We were both from Ohio She got stationed at Vandenburg AFB and me in Spain. We met again while I was stationed at Macdill AFB.

I dont have much info. I just know he was in the U.S Air Force and fought in the Korean War in 1951 to 1953. His name was Howard Raef. If anyone knew him has anything about him I would be greatly appreciated if you could share it with me.

Looking to contact Marine (first name unknown) Hernandez. He served at National Security Agency, Ft. Meade, about 1969-1974. I knew him from my job as counter girl at Maryland City Valet dry cleaners, Laurel, Md. One day he offered me a ride home when I had walked a long distance carrying packages after shopping. I refused his offer, and when I think back on that day I regret turning down his gesture. My email is williamsnan@comporium.net. My name is Nancy Weyandt Williams. The customers thought I was the daughter of the owners of the cleaners, Mack and Mary Raschella, but I was not. Thank you Hernandez for that offer and all vets for your sacrifices. I am looking for anyone who served with my husband, Melvin Walczak, during Vietnam on either the Allagash or the Milwaukee. I believe he also decommissioned the Allagash. Mel passed away three years ago leaving me with lots of questions about his time in the Navy.

My Dad, Milton Dickson who is alive and well served from late ‘67-‘69 in Vietnam as a member of D Troop, 3rd squadron, 17th Air Cavalry. Trying to find others who served with and knew him in the service. It’s proving difficult to find information about his service records online. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Would love to reconnect with some great friends of mine from the barracks. Only remember first names: Rick, from Ohio, (had a black car, with pink accessories, that we used for weekend road trips); Jay; Ken (Diver/Seal?); Tom (Seabee); Paul - our metal head; Shaun (was from Maine), had a crotch rocket; Jen Berry? had a baby boy right before I was discharged. Also, Andrea Larson, who was a civilian DK that worked at PSD New London with me, and was also my off-base roommate. Any information would be great. Thank you!!

Went out twice on USS Vandenberg was radiated and had thyroid cancer. Anyone else have similiar experience.
