I'm looking for anyone who can verify is stationed at U-Tapao Thailand in the fall of 1968. I was TDY out of Minot AFB on KC135 58-004 as a jet engine mechanic.diagnosing with Type II Diabetes, Parkinson. VA has denied my claim show evidence here

reciently looking at my DD-214 i was in the 15 cav 2nd AD Ft. Hood , but my DD-214 shows 1st Cav is this perhaps the unit I was assigned to as my military obligation by joining was 6 yrs, 3 active duty & 3 in active ?

I am trying to find info about my grandfather's Navy Service during WWII. I know he was on an LST (MECH) & I know that he trained in Farragut, ID & in June of 1944 he was somewhere in the Atlantic because his father died & he came home.
