Hello!
I am looking for my grandfather. He likely doesn’t know I exist. We have been searching for him for over two decades. We have done 23 and me, Ancestry & Family Tree DNA with no hits. The only name we have is (Joe) or Joseph?
* Southerner from Alabama or SC or one of those places. He was tall with blonde hair.
* Joe's wife was former Miss whatever state they were from. They had a daughter together.
* Joe worked at the C N O Motor Pool in Washington, D.C. as a VIP Driver in 1964-65 (don't know if he was there before or after that).
* Pregnancy happened in 1964 with my grandmother Joann (not his wife) who he met in Waples Trailer Park .. either in Waples or in Virginia Beach Colony Trailer Park on 17th street.
* He was friends with man by the name of Allen Fair
If you have any insight or worked the CNO Motorpool in this area during this time I would love to hear from you.

I was in C Co, 229th Assault Helicopte4 Bn.
I served as the Co Commander in 67 &68,
Including the TET 68 period. Capt Wm Allanack was the Opns Officer. He was wounded during an assault at Khe San while I was on R & R. I visited him on a NavyHospital
ship, saw him later in Washington DC a few times but have lost touch with him.

Old age setting in, can't remember names. Our two aviation boatswainemates. I can remember the oldest of the two liked his steaks cooked just like the phone and 15 minutes more. That was when phones were all black . No cell phones.
