I am a graduate student under the direction of Professor David Fogarty in the School of Business at Northcentral University. My name is Steven L. McAlister. I can be reached at (504)655-2259 or s.mcalister9494@o365.ncu.edu. I am conducting a research study on effective mental healthcare treatment approaches used to discourage suicide in the United States military. The name of this research study is “Suicide epidemic in the U. S. military: A qualitative study on its causes and beneficial treatment approaches”.
I am recruiting individuals that meet these criteria:
• Are age 18 or older.
• Are a current or former member of the U. S. military.
• Have honorably served.
• Have received any healthcare treatment provided by the VA.
The activities for this research project will include:
• Read this Informed Consent Form.
• If you agree, you will fill out an online questionnaire or complete the paper version of the questionnaire, if requested. It will take about 20 minutes.
Your participation in this study is voluntary.
All data in this study will be protected by the following procedures:
Assigning your completed questionnaire a number and letter combination unrelated to your name. Keeping the records stored in separate locked locations. I will maintain a confidential record of issued Informed Consent Forms using a letter and number combination

I am looking for a YN that was with the salvage unit in Pearl Harbor in 1987-88 by the name of Sue Smith. She left there in 88 I believe and wwent to Panama. Any info from any shipmate would be greatly appreciated.

I’m looking for photos of my Uncle Ted Middleton. He served in Vietnam and was killed August 8, 1968. He was in 2ND PLT, C CO, 1ST BN, 8TH Cavalry, 1ST CAV DIV, USARV. Ted was from Mason, Ohio. Ted was from a family of 13. Many of his siblings have passed on. Unfortunately with the passing of his siblings and things getting moved around his military photos have been misplaced. Our family would like to find a photo of Ted in his uniform to have it restored. Teds hometown is having military banners made to honor services members. We would like to have one made to honor Ted but we need a good photo of Ted in his uniform. Any help would be appreciated. tbakoller@gmail.com

I am helping my Dad, Eugene Funk (BTRY C 2D Tab, 26th Arty), to also search for anyone he may have served with from 1966-1968. He was a radar crewman but I'm not 100% sure if he carried a radio. He def has back problems (slipped vertebrae). We believe he was exposed to Agent Orange but has been denied benefits. I was stationed in Chrang Valley Vietnam during 1969-1970. Assigned to the 90th Heavy Material Supply. I'm trying to locate it on Google Earth. Would you be able to supply the land coordinates so I may look at it today? Also could you put me in touch with any of my military buddies that served there during that time.
