Hi, Sir! I hope you found your friend. My father served in the 1st Shore Party in 1966. Pfc or LcCpl Robert Jones, retired.
He worked with heavy equipment. I've been tasked to try and follow my fathers military "steps". I've come across a recently declassified file and found your name,. It in the same company as my father but still a true Marine. Which I wanted to say, Welcome Home.

Smitty, from Colorado, was around the TBB Area, in 1972. MOS/Unit Unk. Drug user, dealer, kept it hidden. Tall,slim with dark hair. Girlfriend was Dagmar, barmaid at the Scotch Club in TBB. Help!
