I am trying to help my dad find an old Navy buddy. All he remembers is that his last name was Morris and possibly from Ohio. They served in Boat Unit 2 in the Amphibious Force from 1954-1956.

I like to know if Dad recalled the day lighting hit the compound. I was one who got hit by it,as I operated the switchboard when It hit me. The capt. took me to medics.
