I served in Lai Khe and Di-An area in a small outpost called Tan-Uyen 1/28 Infantry 4.2 Mortar Platoon assigned to the 8/6 arty. Was looking for a old friend Lt. Bruce Lanier from Alabama.

There was 2 ribbons for Vietnam , the service ribbon and the campaign ribbon. There was 9 plus campaigns. I was there for 7 so i wear one silver and 2 bronze. there are several other ribbons that each unit were awarded in Vietnam.

Father served in Vietnam through 5 tours. Seek anyone that may have served with him. I waiting on his military records to narrow down things down. He recently died, want to know more about his time.
