5/7 Air Cav co. C third platoon first squad leader, then platoon SSG. Would like talk to these members. Most of the third platoon were soldiers were from Ohio. And members of the National Guard called up for nine months of active duty. These guy were great.

I went to Ft Knox for basic June 20 1978, was in 1st platoon D-19-4. Took AIT there also, was in B-2-4, don't remember which platoon i was in. drill sergeants in basic where sgt sills and sgt church

Hi. My name is Dennis McCulla. I was stationed on Guam 1970 to 1971. Naval Communication and barracks were above the Marines. Just wanted to say hi and and see if anyone is around. I went to survival school after Guam and then NAM. For,13 months on the Makong Delta ISB Nam Can. Also looking for anyone stationed there with me.

Hi Dennis, I was at the Naval Hospital on Guam fall 1969- Dec 1970. I worked in outpatient department mostly evenings and weekends for emergencies, went on bus runs to Anderson AFB to pick up casualties, did some events with USO like hiking and trip to Rota. Loved to snorkel and taught myself to sail a sunfish in the Navy harbor. In Boulder CO now

My uncles name is Arnold Tomes. I’m reaching out to anyone who served with him from 1970 to 1974. He served in the US Army. I have no idea what BDE or BN he was with. Would like to know more about his time in the Army. He passed away a few weeks ago.

...that was stationed Holloman AFB between 1988 and 1990, possibly with the 49th Operational Support Squadron.

Shot down on August 24, 1970 in Vietnam, Northeast Tan Uyen. I’m looking for a person that was being trained that day, was sitting in the back of a OH58, that received ground fire and the pilot was killed. We crashed and the pilot and you were medic out. I think you were sent to Japan for a back injury. You would have been out of the 145th or 190th. If you are this person or know of him please contact me. Thank you Jack at talkingtonclan@hotmail.com

I’m looking for more information/people who may have known and/or served with my father in Vietnam. I don’t have a lot of information on his service and he passed away in 2008. He served on (at least one) ship during Vietnam. He moved on to work in civil service in Alaska, Virginia, and finally San Antonio, TX.

I was offered help to find my father from a retired sniper I ran into working and he reached out to some military staff..I need help from any and all military and family of military please! I will never stop trying to find my Daddy!

I am looking for a woman named Dawn Hodge(s) what was your moms maiden name. The dates work out. But i met Dawn in Ft lee Va. She was a private, i was PfC. This was in the time frame you posted. She was from South Carolina if i remember correctly.

Our stories are so alike. My heart breaks when I hear OUR story... Have you tried 23&Me? After you DNA returns upload it to Anstery.com , also GEDMATCH.. last is completely free... While waiting on DNA search census records for those time periods.. also land and deeds... Pray we find our fathers or at least a photo... Hope I was able to help in the search.. never give up, answers are out here We just need to find them.
