in the field with a nut
we were out in Baghdad in Iraq and walking alone side of the road , and we had Specialists (MOS 89D Sgt James Burke was from Kentucky , He was a crazy man didn't care to blow thing up , we all put him on other side of the road while packing the explosives', because we said if shooting start I want far away from you and your backpack and that his job was responsible for attacking, defeating, and exploiting unexploded building and what ever they needed him to do, Our objective was to get him to his objective and out , we made into downtown Baghdad and found our Objective when he came out from doing his thing he look at me and put a cigar in his mouth and said run run like hell , we got a distance he set that shot off and the hole block look like a big ball of fire , siren going off and everything went to hell quick , We ending up in gunfight and Burke said charges here and he started firing on a group of Iraqi soldiers and we moved to another location behind a Iraqi Truck and as they approach that spot he set that charge off , you know your job, and we got back to our company and Capt. Jackson said well done guy , you all have destroyed two main building that they was using for a hideout and two block of buildings you are one crazy fucker , but great job and I look at Burke and said you are one crazy fucker, I glad you on our side , and two weeks later i got go Home back to Austin, Tx i sure miss those brother in arms

Searching For Someone
Hi to all members on here! I am currently searching for my maternal grandfather, we were never given a name so we are going through DNA and researching ourselves. We have been lead to believe that the man we are looking for served in the US Military and was possibly stationed in Sculthorpe, Norfolk, United Kingdom during a period of 1959. We also think his name may be Burton Hall Allen Jr. I wonder if anyone could help me with any details of this man?
