The 1st Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment ("1/69 Armor") is a distinguished armored battalion of the United States Army with a storied history dating back to World War II. Originally constituted in 1940, the unit first saw combat in the European Theater, participating in key operations across France and Germany. In the Vietnam War, 1/69 Armor played a significant role, notably earning the Presidential Unit Citation for its actions at the Battle of Ben Het and other major engagements.
