CHARLESTON, S.C. (Sept. 5, 2007) – VetFriends.com – the largest Web site for reuniting U.S. military veterans – has recently reached over 800,000 registered members, reporting an average increase of 10,000 to 15,000 new members per month to the site. After locating 52 men with the assistance of VetFriends.com, veteran R. Soden writes, “If it hadn’t been for VetFriends.com I would have only kept track of one man in Iowa. Thank you VetFriends for getting me started! We love our vets. God bless you.”
|
The Web site additionally offers helpful information on how to request military personnel records, separation papers and medals from the U.S. Government, all with downloadable forms.
